  • Online therapy works similarly to in-person therapy, but you meet with me through video, phone, or secure chat. I use Zoom and Psychology Today’s platform, both fully HIPAA-compliant to ensure privacy and security. During sessions, you can talk, share your thoughts, and work on strategies just like you would in an office setting. All you need is a device with a camera and a stable internet connection, and we can meet from the comfort of your own space.

  • Yes, confidentiality is a top priority. Both Zoom and Psychology Today use encryption and follow strict HIPAA standards, meaning your sessions and personal information are kept private and protected. Nothing we discuss will be shared without your permission, except in situations required by law, such as immediate risk of harm to yourself or others. This makes online therapy just as safe as meeting in person.

  • I do not accept insurance, but I offer private-pay sessions at $200 per 50-minute session. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

  • You must be physically located within California during each session. As long as you are somewhere in the state, we can meet from the comfort of your home, a private office, or any safe and quiet location with a reliable internet connection. This requirement ensures that your therapy complies with California law, while still giving you the flexibility to choose the space where you feel most comfortable and able to focus on your sessions.

  • If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of harming yourself or others, call 911 immediately.
